This image was made in Kyoto last month and taken outside of a shopping center. The clever use of mirrors inside the front of the building creates a dramatic focal point and a metaphor of living in a big city.
Very nice image. You’re right the mirror does create nice repeating patterns. I bet this was a lot of fun just staying and taking photos of various people.
Hi Allen, Yes I enjoy street photography as it is all about observation and spontaneity. I thought the young man looked like a ‘typically’ Japanese but of course that is highly subjective!.
