The photographic equivalent to Facebook has over 400 million active monthly users which seems like a huge number. The current use of photographic images has never been more prolific making digital photography a truly universal medium. As a photographer I am a relative late comer to the platform and trying to find a suitable outlet for its unique position. I love the filters that you can use although this is very different from the style of photography I normally make so I have embraced this as one of Instagram’s USP.
